Lauren Stackhouse (Snyder) began her high school ball at Upper Merion in King of Prussia, PA. She played her college basketball at Delaware Valley University where she was a 4 year starter. She ended her career with 1,185 points. Standing at only 5'6" tall Lauren broke the school's rebounding record, ending her career with 951 rebounds. She was 1st Team All-Conference two times in her career and an Academic All-American her senior year. In October 2015, she was inducted into the hall of fame at Delaware Valley University. She is currently a teacher in the Avon Grove SD and coached at Downingtown East HS as a varisty assistant for 4 years. She is currently the Head Varsity Girls Coach at Rustin HS in West Chester, PA. This season she led the Knights to a 22-4 season. They were the two time Chesmont champions and 5A District Champions ending the season with a run to the PA State Final Four. Stackhouse was named the PA State Coach of the Year as well the Daily Local News Coach of the Year.
Jules is a Delaware County native and co-founder of the Delco Goats. He was a graduate of Academy Park High School and coaches 3rd/6th grade boys AAU. He has been an area official for 17 years. Jules is excited to continue to build the Delco Goats program into an area leader in player growth and development.
Steve resides in Kennett Square Pa with his wife Amanda which coaches the Goats 9th grade HGSL team as well as his two daughters McKenna and Raelynn. Steve attended sun Valley high school and played three varsity sports including being all del Val and all Delco in baseball and basketball. Steve attended Neumann University and was captain of the baseball team for three years and all conference . Prior to coaching at Sun Valley he served as assistant varsity basketball coach at strath haven for 5 years. Steve currently is the head basketball coach at sun Valley high school in which he has over 120 wins , 8 district playoff appearances, a final 8 appearance in the state as well as 2019 district 1 championship. He has also ran camps clinics and several years coaching in the area AAU wise. Steve also has coached baseball at the collegiate level at Neumann University as well as Malvern Prep.
Amanda brings a variety of coaching experience to the program. She began playing basketball when she was young and continued through high school at Archbishop Prendergast. After completing her playing career, she began as the assistant basketball coach for 7th & 8th grade girls for St. Charles CYO. For the last 8 years, Amanda has coached 8th grade field hockey, 7th grade basketball and track & field for Fred S. Engle Middle School in the Avon Grove School District. Amanda has coached a various Goats Clinics , Camps as well as been coaching the Goats 5 years and her 9th Grade HGSL team is participating on the Hoop Group Circut this season. Coach Maloney's father, Steve helps coach the HGSL Goats 9th grade team. He has coached several CYO and AAU programs in past years.
Jim Falcone began his basketball career at Ridley HS. In 1987 Jim was All-Central League, and All-Delco. He was also 3rd team All-Area. He went on to play his college ball at West Chester University. He is formerly the head coach at Delaware County Community College and coached AAU basketball for 9 years.Jim currently resides in Garnet Valley, PA. JIm is currently the Varisty Assitant basketball coach at Rustin HS in West Chester, PA.
Kristen Port is a former Haverford High School basketball standout. Known for her shooting talent, Kristen played collegiately at West Chester University. Kristen started her coaching career at a young age, as an AAU coach for the Delmont Blaze. Her teams were high scoring with a run and gun mentality. After bringing a team to the AAU nationals with the Blaze, Kristen started her own AAU organization, The Delco Xtreme. Kristen was also the head coach at Penncrest High School in Meda, PA. Kristen helped turn the Lions into a contender while being the youngest coach in the Central League. She stepped away from coaching HS at it's peak to start a family. She currently resides in Garnet Valley, PA and has three children Lyla, JJ and Landon.
Tina Nicholson is a Downingtown basketball legend and former WNBA player (Cleveland Rockers - '97). Tina played her high school ball at Downingtown H.S. (1988-1992) where she scored 2,709 points in her career. She went to play Division I basketball at Penn State University, where she was a 2-time, 1st team All Big Ten player. She was then drafted by the Cleveland Rockers in 1997. Tina is also a member of the Chester County Sports Hall of Fame. She coached at Downingtown East HS from 2000-2018 and was the varsity assistant and head JV coach at Rustin HS in West Chester, PA in 2 years. She is currently the head varsity coach at Coatesville High School.
